Andress Engineering's office in Conyers, Georgia specializes in locomotives and many other types of railcar movers.
What we can offer you are the following:
- Reconditioned or remanufactured 100T and 135T locomotives designed for safe one man crew operation utilizing Toshiba TLC and Cattron Radio Remote Controls.
- Engine options are Detroit Diesel, Cummins or Caterpillar ranging from 450hp to 1000hp.
- Our locomotives are exempt from Tier 0,1, and 2 Federal EPA requirements.
- Units are available meeting all FRA safety requirement for short line operation including ditch light and FRA glazing.
- New engine, alternator, wiring, PLC Radio Remote Control, wheels and compressed air dryers. Reconditioned traction motors, truck frames, axles and reversing contactors.
- Remanufactured unit has new cab and hood. Reconditioned unit has reconditioned cab and sheet metal.
- Andress Engineering also offers Trackmobile®, hydraulic railcar indexers, cable pullers and capstans.
